My experience as a professional visual communicator has spanned more than 30 years. During that time I have worked as a graphic designer, art director and creative for advertising agencies and design studios in St. Louis, Missouri. As principle of Chris Licata Art and Design, I have provided graphic design services for business, nationally.
My expertise is in direct marketing, sales promotion, branding, advertising and advertising collateral. I have worked on many consumer, business-to-business and non-profit accounts.
My work has been recognized by the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association, and the National Direct Marketing Association.
I have been a member of the Direct Marketing Association, the American Institute
of Graphic Arts, the Missouri Association for Career and Technical Training, the University and College Designers Association, and American Association of
University Women.
Teaching allows me to give back to the community. As an instructor of graphic design,
I take seriously the task to prepare students to become vital and responsible creative contributors to the community. I have taught Drawing, Painting, Photography and Graphic Design in Community Colleges and Universities in both Missouri and Oregon.
Currently I am at Rogue Community College in Medford Oregon where I teach and am program coordinator for the Digital Graphics Design program.
