Creative Director — 1988 - 1989
Directed creative team toward successful and on-target direct mail campaigns that met client and agency creative standards. Designed direct mail campaigns and made presentations during client-agency meetings. Supervised creative staff: organized, assigned and oversaw work in creative department while guiding individuals toward their professional goals. Managed creative department: responsible for status reports to upper management, worked closely with production manager to ensure that timelines and budgets were met. Directed project for client, Mercantile Bank, which won a B/PAA Business/Professional Advertising Association TAM (Targeted Advertising and Marketing) Bronze Award for a Total Communications Program.

I was chosen by Wilson Sculley Associates to head-up subsidiary company. Besides acting as desiner and creative director I was responsible for securing new business, account management, and the administration of the creative department.

Art Director — 1984 - 1986
Responsible for executing layout and design of direct mail campaigns, collateral and point of sale materials, and supervised art department. Contributed significantly to the growth of the company resulting in an increase of $100,000.00 of business from 1979 to 1982. Created work that was recognized by the National Direct Marketing Association.

Worked as the project photographer for a Title III funded program called Project C.O.U.L.D. (Career Orientation Utilizing Language Development.
I worked with the cinematographer to create learning materials to be used for instruction in the Coos County School District.
